The University of South Carolina – USA is providing tuition fee reduction to high achieving students who are interested in pursuing a degree program at the Institution.
When you apply for admission to UofSC, you are automatically considered for merit scholarships. These scholarships are only awarded to first-time freshmen entering the fall semester. Only one Admissions Merit Award per individual is allowed for nonresidents.

Eligibility:
- Applicants need to have an average SAT score of 1486 (ACT score of 34) and an average weighted high school GPA of 4.48.
- Applicants are required to have attempted ACT or SAT and must have scored a minimum of 1486 or 34 respectively.
- Applicants must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
- TOEFL IBT – 77
- TOEFL PBT – 550
- IELTS – 6.5
