- be Black African-American graduating HS senior, current college student or returning college student.

- Provide two professional references from Professors that speak directly to your experience in Veterinary Medicine or Technology. One letter should be from a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) professor.

- A minimum of 500-750 words answering the following question:
- Laboratory animal medicine and research are conducted to advance the field of human and veterinary medicine. Discuss the pros and cons of administering treatments to advance medical science but may cause pain or discomfort to research animals.
- Post-Secondary Requirements
- Two professional references that speak to your experience in veterinary medicine. One must be from your current veterinary college.
- Proof of full-time enrollment in an accredited veterinary college.
- 1500 words
- A minimum of 1500 answering the following question:
- Laboratory animal medicine and research are conducted to advance the field of human and veterinary medicine. Discuss the pros and cons of administering treatments to advance medical science but may cause pain or discomfort to research animals?
