The inaugural Global Spartan Scholarship was created by International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) in fall 2020 to recognize and provide financial support to our new and continuing international students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Applicants for this scholarship must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, commitment to globalization/international education, and financial need.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate with 12 units or 9 units as a graduate student
- Applicants must need to be active students for the next academic year at SJSU.
- Applicants will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency. For more information, go through the English language requirements
Application Process: Applicants are required to take admission at the university. After that, you just need to login into the SJSU Academic Works account and complete the “General Application.”
