ABSTRACT
This study is designed to show how cooperative societies can alleviate poverty in Arochukwu North Local Government Area, Abia State.
The sample consist of 25 farmer cooperative society members, 25 marketing cooperative society members, 25 credit and thrift cooperative society members and 25 consumer cooperative society members.
The main instrument used for collecting data was questionnaire. The sample was collected through random sampling techniques and statistical method used for data analysis in sample percentage.
