IMPACT OF NIGERIA STOCK EXCHANGE ON INDUSTRIAL FINANCING IN NIGERIA

Project Abstract:

This study examined “The Impact of Nigeria Stock Exchange on Industrial Financing in Nigeria”.  The objective of the study was to examine the impact of market capitalization on industrial output. To examine the relationship between volume of shares and industrial output. This study employed ex-post facts research design and gathered data from Central Bank of Nigeria statistical bulletin. Hypotheses were tested using ordinary least square method. The result of the finding revealed there is a significant relationship between market capitalization and industrial output.It was also revealed that there is no significant relationship between volume of shares and industrial output. The study equally reveled that there is no significant relationship between value of shares and industrial output. Based in this, it was recommended Government should create the necessary economic and Sociopolitical environment conducive for the operations of the capital market.
