Abstract
This study was intended to design and implementation of an interactive online platform for students and school supervisors to communicate regularly during the student’s IT/SIWES attachment. This study was undertaken majorly to provide an interactive online platform for students and school supervisors to communicate regularly during the students IT/SIWES attachment. Specific objectives of the study are: To enable school supervisor monitor the progress of the students during their IT/SIWES training, To enable students and supervisors communicate regularly, this in turn enables the student to provide feedbacks regarding problems encountered during his/her training program, To enable the lecturer/supervisor determine if the student is gaining relevant work experience during the IT/SIWES training. Concerning methodology for this study, data used for the development of the research was gotten from the internet, textbooks and articles. The contributions of other researchers on the subject were examined so as to gather relevant information. The case study also provided useful information for the development of the system..
