From the major findings, it was recommended that government should provide effective and efficient road network, than to provide an effective storage facilities.

CHAPTER ONE

1.5Scope of the Study

In studying the rice production in the agricultural industry, emphasis was led on the large scale production of rice and bean in large scale. The data collected and used in the course of this research work covers the period between 2000 – 2001.

1.6Limitation of the Study

The study was carried out under a number of limitations the time available was grossly inadequate to carry out the research in details the research in details the researchers had tried to concentrate on areas considered very important.

However, the above limitation does not in any way affect the validity of data used in this study.

1.7Statement of Hypothesis

A statistical hypothesis can be defined as “an assumption or statement which may or may not be concerning one or more population”.

It is a tentative statement about reality that can either be supported or reduced on the basis of collected evidence or relevant information. The above boils down to the fact that statement of hypothesis because only accepted evidence.
