ABSTRACT 
It is the intrusion of the  study to examine an how unemployment could be reduced through co-operative societies in Anambara East local government area.
The objective of this research work is to bring to the co-operative ( societies)
In the area of studying an how unemployment could be reduced.  I also form tied out the type of unemployment problems that could be encountered  these are normal  and transitional unemployment , seasonal unemployment transitional unemployment and structural unemployment other issues like agriculture , poverty e t c  was also pointed out .
Some authors writers  and school have already done much work on this topic and these contributions were merely revisited .
