This research work will review the application of job evaluation in Nigeria Company PLC using the 9th mile plant as a case study.
However, the application of job evaluation is not new in the organizational structure of Nigeria. It started as complain by employees that the relative worth of job are not usually determined more often than not by a host extraneous and sometimes subjective factor such as kinship relationship.
This work will critically examine and analyses the purpose and significance of the study, to determine the limitations in the practical application of job evaluation which has become a more systematic and objective appropriate made in the determination of the relative worth of each job to avert the complains made by employees.
To carry out this study, existing texts and literatures will be reviewed
Four research hypothesis will be designed in line with the problem. Questionnaires will be used to source for information as well as interviews, journals and report from NBC in order to get correct and accurate facts about the problem.
Collected data will be presented with tables and analysed using chi-square to prove or disprove the hypothesis, and hence summary of findings will be drawn.
Also from findings, conclusions will be drawn as well as recommendations to help combat the problem and limitation of the tool (job evaluation. suggestion will also be made for further research studies
