THE IMPORTANCE OF SEX EDUCATION AMONG STUDENTS
ABSTRACT
Sexuality is a broad term that refers to the totality of human knowledge about sex and sexual identity. This research work exposes the importance of sex education among students in Ekwusigo Local Government Area using reflective thinking. Chapter one gave a strong background of the study. Chapter two reviewed related literatures. Chapter three provided the methodology used in getting data. Chapter four presented the available data while chapter five summarized the study with recommendations and suggestions for further study.
CHAPTER ONE
INTRODUCTION
1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Reasoning is one of the important aspects in our educational system. In the year past our educational system was incomplete thereby our students cannot achieve their objectives of being an educated person since education brings development in oneself, home, community and society at large. Reasoning cannot be neglected as far as education is concerned.
Therefore learners have been mandated to think critical, creative and care for others and for their studies in order reach their goals and target.
1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This missing link (reasoning) should be introduce in our school curriculum so that every schools in the society will teach students how to reason and solve their problems without helping hand from another individuals.
1.3 SCOPE OF THE STUDY
This study is restricted to exposing the importance of sex education among students .The study has its focus in secondary schools in Ekwusigo L.G.A.
1.4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The study is important because it will help students, teachers, educational administrators and parents to see the need for sex education and proper preparation of young people into adulthood.

1. What problems do students encounter about sexuality in secondary schools?
2. What are the effects of these problems on students?
3. What measures has the government taken to prevent the global problem of youth and sexuality in secondary schools?
4. What are the possible solutions to sexual issues among students in secondary schools?
