Through the generosity of 4 New Square, this scholarship is worth £10,000 and is awarded annually to a BCL student (UK, EU or overseas) with an interest in proceeding to the bar. There is no separate application procedure: successful BCL candidates will be considered for the scholarship on their BCL application.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must have been successfully admitted to the BCL programme.
- Applicants should hold or be predicted to achieve the equivalent ofa first-class undergraduate degree with honours in law.
- Applicants must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
- IELTS – 7.5
- TOEFL IBT – 110
- CAE – 191
- CPE – 191
How to Apply: Students need to make their admission application for the BCL programme online. No separate application is required for this scholarship, as all students that have applied will automatically be considered.
