1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Almost every day, reports of Nigerian organizational executives engaging in various sorts of unethical behavior appear in the top news, whether locally or globally. Organizations in Nigeria have been plagued by unethical business practices, resulting in a high percentage of unethical judgments made by executives, which have a negative impact on both the organization and society (Igbaekemen, Abbah, & Geidam, 2014).
