Academic Motivation and Locus of Control as Predictors of Academic Achievement Among Secondary School Students in Anambra State
Abstract
This study employed a correlational research design to investigate the relationship between academic motivation, locus of control, and academic achievement among public secondary school students in Anambra State, Nigeria. A structured questionnaire was used to gather data from a sample of 130 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS23. The results revealed strong positive correlations between academic motivation and academic achievement, as well as between locus of control and academic achievement.
